The Burnt & Bombed damaged remains of the Bluecoat Chambers. Hit by incendiary Bombs on the night of the 3rd of May 1941 during the Blitz. The concert hall by an incendiary bomb and the following night one of the wings was destroyed by a bomb.After the war restoration began and was completed in 1951. |

Gostin: The firm of Gostin produced hand-crafted furniture based on examples and patterns of prominent designers in 18th century. Princess Margaret was among the Royal patrons. In 1982 the firm was commissioned to make a bonheur du jour for the Princess. |
