Longdon's mill, Agard Street. This made trusses and surgical supports, though by the 1980s it was let out as small offices. There was a fountain in the yard: http://www.flickr.com/photos/eamoncurry/7776344928/in/photostream/ And a tiny but fully- equipped firestation.

The railway arches here were formerly used by the Derby tramways in horse-drawn days. Tramway rails and pointwork were visible in the yard until the mid 1980s when the bridge over Agard Street was demolished.
