Aintree Central railway station. This station was owned by the Cheshire Lines Committee Railway company until 1948 when the railway became part of BR London Midland Region. The station closed to scheduled passenger services in 1960, only handling Grand National special excursions until 1966 - No trace of this station is extant, the site is now under an industrial estate on Deltic Way. |

This was the location of Ford Station. This station was closed in 1951 when scheduled electric train services between Aintree Sefton Arms and Liverpool Exchange via Bootle ceased.The route remained electrified until 1956 for the use of Liverpool Overhead Railway Grand National Specials running to and from Aintree Station and Dingle. |

St Peter's Parish Church on Church Avenue off Warbreck Moor. The church no longer exists as it had been demolished in 1999 |

The Sefton Arms Hotel. This landmark was demolished in the 1960s - A new pub was built on the site. These days the location is a Tandoori restaurant. |
