Trentham Priory or Trentham Priory Farm as it was sometimes known, was owned by Adolph Wenger who was a manufacturer of colours to the pottery industry based in Etruria. Trentham Priory was knocked down around the early 60s and this made way for a housing estate on the site and the land owned by the Wenger's. To the front of the house three were two grass tennis court's and to the rear was the stabling, large greenhouse, pigsties etc. I don't know how many rooms the property had but it did have a large wine cellar judging by the picture it was a very substantial property shame it had to go. |
