| This is roughly at the centre of the area of land commonly known as the "Fiery Holes". It was associated with the 19th century Bradley Lodge Pit and numerous even older local small pits. Coal from this region might well have been used by Wilkinson in his pioneering 18th Ironworks at Lower Bradley |
