This place used to send out quite a neighborhood stink when I was a little kid. Before the footbridge was installed close to this spot, there used to be a ferryman with a little old wooden boat that would row passangers back and forth across the river. His 24hr home was the remnants of what looked like a concrete wartime bunker. There was a natural spring issuing from the rocks nearby. |
