The still standing Dorchester House. Soon to be demolished to make way for the Dorchester Hotel. |

A stunning view of Park Lane. The Grosvenor House in question is now a hotel and luxury flats. It replaced the magnificent Grosvenor House Mansion which was demolished in about 1925, like a lot of those magnificent mansions. One survivor however can still be seen at the top and that is Dorchester House. That to was demolished in about 1928 to make way for The Dorchester Hotel. A sad loss. |
