EASTCOTE LANE RUNS LEFT TO RIGHT ACROSS THE LOWER FOREGROUND THE ENCLOSED AREA BOTTOM LEFT AND SOUTH SIDE OF EASTCOTE LANE IS IVY COTTAGE (NOW IVY CLOSE) AND THE PROPERTY SURROUNDED BY TREES TO THE RIGHT IS DABBS HILL HOUSE (NOW THE START OF CARYLON AND WALTON AVENUES) KINGS ROAD IS OPPOSITE AND STIVEN CRESCENT FOLLOWED BY STUART AVENUE ARE ON THE LEFT LOOKING TOWARDS RAYNERS LANE ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE IS HAMILTON CRESCENT. THE FIELDS TO THE RIGHT OF HAMILTON CRESCENT ARE NOW OCCUPIED BY THE SCHOOLS COMPLEXT IN EASTCOTE LANE BEHIND WHICH IS MERLINS AVENUE |

Thanks for the information about Eastcote Lane and the surrounding roads. It's very interesting to see the area how it looked in those days - makes me very much yearn for those days. I'm particularly interested in Walton Avenue - do you know anything about the history of Dabbs Hill House? |
