Geoff, these are great ground shots to compliment the oblique aerial view. So they show construction prior to the date of the Aerofilms image; was it a local company, and have any of the industrial locomotives survived into preservation? Yours, Katy Britain from Above Cataloguing Team Leader |

Katy Glad you like them - there are others, but these seemed to fit best with the aerial views. The Sutton end of the line was built by McAlpine. As far as I know none of the locomotives shown has survived. Regards Geoff |
