PRINCE'S THEATRE auditorium and stage building. The arches in the wall at street level frame the entrances for the cheaper seats. The PALACE THEATRE/MUSIC HALL was beneath the Prince's, with an entrance on Manchester Road which in later years was a pub (the Palace was closed). |

The BRADFORD PICTURE HOUSE (later Morley Street Picture House, later dance hall then bingo) which is now the Alhambra Studio Theatre. The principal entrance was on Morley Street; a secondary, and plainer, entrance was on Great Horton Road. |

The NEW VICTORIA (later Gaumont, then Odeons) under construction. The steelwork shows the fan shape of the auditorium and the rakes of the shallow circle and balcony. On Thornton Road, an old building has yet to be demolished to make way for the block that house the restaurant (ground floor) and ballroom (above). |
