Stockport (Tiviot Dale)-Glazebrook-Warrington (Central)-Liverpool (Central) railway line - closed to passenger services during the Beeching cuts in November 1964, and to goods traffic in 1993. The track remains in situ, though some has been stolen by metal thieves. |

Manchester/Stockport- Timperley-Lymm-Warrington (Bank Quay Low Level)-Liverpool (Lime Street) railway line - closed to passenger trains under the Beeching cuts in September 1962, and to goods traffic in 1985. A road serving a new commercial development now occupies the line of the former railway at this point. |
