1932/1933: The Globe Hotel once stood at No: 17 New Market St - As this photo was taken in 1933 this happened to be a transitional period for this fine old pub, having just given up it's licence in 1932 it was soon to become the home of local auctioneers F.H. Sunderland & Co. (finally demolished circa 1967) |
