| Mineral railway under Bolton rd.,to Bury gas works; tunnel and cutting north of this raod still extant in 2014, just up hill from what was (is?) RRG car sales. Tunnel mouth on southwest side of road next to end terraced house still discenible too. By Barney Rubble. |
