Oh Wow! Superb!. This is part of my roaming ground as a child back in the 50's and it's just as I remember it. The Tenement housing in the centre was a street called Westmarch (which generally described the area) and the factory to the north was Dobbie's 'Four Square' Tobacco factory which later became BMK Carpet Factory. The Railway siding is Paisley St James Goods Yard with the Station on the left hand side. |
