Ibrox Stadium, home of The Famous Glasgow Rangers, Scotland's Most Successful Football Club, the date of this picture says 20th December 1928. This is incorrect, it must be much earlier. The magnificent 10,000 capacity Archibald Leitch Main Stand was completed by this time, it was opened on 1st January 1929 for a league match against bitter rivals Celtic which finished in a 3-0 win for the hosts but in this picture it has clearly not been built yet. |
