![]() This is a view looking towards the mountain and old quarry in Holyhead. Post code LL65 The mountain was quarried for stone to build the 1.75 miles breakwater, and to make fire bricks. Attached photo shows a Irish mail boat passing the end of the Breakwater. |

This one has perplexed me and I have scoured the coast of Pembrokeshire only to find that this one is in a part of the world which I should know along with anyone who has sailed by ship from Holyhead. This is North Stack, Holyhead Mountain looking west. |
