The Bald Faced Stag public house (still under construction).
Pubs of the same name had existed on this site for some considerable time. This was the most recent rebuild and the last to function as a pub. The building still exists but only now as a second hand furniture business.
It was always a rough old pub, sourcing most of its regular clientèle from the nearby Watling Estate. |
