The site of the White Swan on the corner of Bath and Dudley Streets. Very old premises built in the 18th century and remained until the 1930s when the premises were demolished along with a great many others in the area. the illustration shows not only the White Swan but also the Seven Stars that stood on opposite on the corner although these premises are not visible on the aerial photograph. The Seven Stars was a Georgian building and had windows that curved not only from side to side but also from top to bottom, an unusual feature I think for this area. |

The Old Original Green Man on the corner of George and Dudley Street. On this site as far back as 1818, and probably earlier, it remained here until its closure in March 1960 when its license was removed to the Knave of Hearts, Bloxwich. The building was demolished around 10 years later. |
