Either RMS Capetown Castle (1938), RMS Edinburgh Castle (1948) or RMS Pretoria Castle (1948). The 10 year gap between sisters was not unusual post war, many British companies dusted off pre-war plans for new builds in the late 1940’s, this saved both design time and money. |
