Location of Osterley Station, opened 25 March 1934. This replaced the station in Thornbury Road (the main building of which is still there), which was in a less prominent location than the new station on the Great West Road. |

This is correctly the "Metropolitan District Railway", (there's no "and" in it's title). The Metropolitan Railway was a seperate concern to the Metropolitan District Railway (usually abbreviated just to District Railway). Metropolitan Railway trains never ran over these tracks to Hounslow. |
