W C Gaunt Co who were the concessionaires for Packard Motors. They had a showroom in Piccadilly.
Later, the general manager of this site, Leonard Williams, opened a Packard sales and servicing centre on the Great West Road, Brentford in 1931. It was built in the industrial art deco vernacular typical of that locality. That building was destroyed by a V2 rocket in March 1945. |

Franco Signs.
This company provided the lighting for the Franco-British Exhibition of 1908 at White City.
From this factory they produced the electrical neon advertising signage that graced Piccadilly Circus until the 1970s. |

The Standard sign probably refers to Standard Telephones and Cables of which Western Electric was the manufacturing arm.
Radio transmitters and receivers were produced at this site. |
