LGOC K-type bus or similar. Whatever made anyone think that open-top public service vehicles were a good idea in the British climate? It took until the 1930s before someone had a bit of a rethink?
A bus service of any kind along Kingsbury Road was a relatively new enterprise as the shocking state of the road had previously precluded this. Suburban development hastened improvements. |
