The Aerofilms Ltd building was utilised from 1940 by the RAF Photographic Interpretation Unit until they moved to larger premises at RAF Medmenham in 1941.

They must have commissioned this on an excellently clear day and with the best pilot/photographer. Assuming this the five-sided building in the centre of the shot is the Aerofilms Office. It is the clearest image I've seen so far. All the properties must be un-let because the windows seem to be boarded. All the properties on the Heather Park Estate were rented, but they were sold off starting in the 1960s.
