This photo is dated May 1930. On 16th May 1930, the then Prime Minister, J. Ramsey MacDonald officially opened the Landing Stage, having travelled from London on a Paddle Steamer, "The Crested Eagle", to be greeted by the Band of the Coldstream Guards. |
